George Alley is a true icon of glamour. In most of the ways possible i believe….. If you don’t know that, then you just don’t know of him. I mostly hear his voice on ‘i’m going to kill you’, a podcast that he does with cohort edward bottger. As a listener i have heard him sing often, but these are different…. Here is the musical bio from his website.
The day George Alley was given a tape recorder was the day he recorded his first song,“Put it In” an ode to putting pies in microwaves, and kids into Esprit sweaters. This led to avant-garde mall recordings of Hava Nagila,, auditions for the New Mickey Mouse Club, Battle of the Bands and beat concerts on college radio. After years of playing in bands with names like Alien Flavors, Dein Kopf, Slug Slug Slug, Standard Noses and Boat to Kazakhstan and studying voice and picking up various instruments
A very strange musician was formed.
Alley has composed music for a variety of purposes. He has composed scores for US & International Sundance S His music videos have been presented embers of Man Man.uch as Cenk Ergun, Drew Castellano hort film Cookie-Cutter Joe, for celebrated dance companies like Dance Theatre X, and Korean choreographer Woo-Jin Ling and composer for Stone Soup Theatre Arts “The McGuffin” He has collaborated and performed with celebrated recording artists such as Cenk Ergun, Hears of Darknesses, Drew Castellano, Skimmingtonride and members of Man Man.
