MoZella was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, where she first got her start as a performer booking her own gigs in coffee houses as early as 15. In 2003 she was signed to Madonna’s Maverick Records in July 2003. In November 2006, she released her full-length debut I Will. She has now signed with Universal/Motown Records and released a new album on October 20, 2009. I haven’t heard it yet, but i did notice that one song was on an episode of The Hills recently. That little text at the bottom is helpful sometimes….

| Zero 7 is a downtempo-ish musical duo made up of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker from the United Kingdom. Over the years they have worked with numerous collaborating vocalist including: Mozez, Sia Furler, Tina Dico, Sophie Barker, and José González. They have recently released their 4th studio album with vocal appearances by soul singer, Eska Mtungwazi, folk artist Martha Tilston, and Rowdy Superstar.

| Originally a duo formed by classically trained musician Warren Fischer and video-artist and experimental theater performer Casey Spooner for an impromptu rendition of their makeshift track “Indian Cab Driver” at the Astor Place Starbucks, the group grew to over 20 performers, most of whom are dancers and guest vocalists. In 2005, Odyssey, the band’s second album, was released to critical acclaim. The lead single, “Just Let Go”, featured live drums and guitars, a very different sound than heard on their first album.

| Sam Sparro is an Australian-born singer-songwriter of Portuguese descent, music producer and former child actor(!). His stage name was derived from a family nickname, which was inspired by a Australian radio mascot. I’m ashamed to say that the only reason I heard him was when Perez Hilton compared Adam Lambert’s first single to ‘Black and Gold’.

| Client are a futurist British musical group from London, England. They combine airline hostess uniforms with glamour-girl aesthetics and harsh electronics to create a sound reminiscent of early forays into electronic sound manipulation and New Wave. Their uniforms have become their trademark.The original band members were formerly known only anonymously as Client A and Client B, to the extent that their faces were not shown on any publicity photos. Client was the first act signed to Depeche Mode keyboardist Andy Fletcher’s record label, Toast Hawaii/(Mute). They have toured with the likes of Depeche Mode and Erasure.

| The Asteroid Galaxy Tour are a danish alternative pop duo that formed in 2008. Their debut single, “The Sun Ain’t Shining No More”, was released on September 15, 2008 on their own ‘Small Giants’ label. Unfortunately they are most recognized for the song ‘Around the Bend’ which was used in a ipod touch commercial…but the song is still awesome! I just always picture someone playing a racing game while its playing…
